About The Position

FCCI is seeking an experienced Managing Director, Underwriting, to lead the regional underwriting team in our Mid-Atlantic Regional office. This role is responsible for driving the growth and profit of the regional property and casualty book, promoting the value-added services of Risk Control and Claims expertise, and cross-marketing FCCI’s specialty lines. The position also involves assisting in the development and achievement of long-term strategic goals, ensuring regulatory and legal compliance within the region, and executing agency management for best practices to deliver a consistent experience for agency partners. The selected candidate will work in our Mid-Atlantic Regional office in Glen Allen, VA.

Requirements

Experienced Managing Director, Underwriting
Experience in leading a regional underwriting team
Knowledge of property and casualty book growth and profit drivers
Understanding of Risk Control and Claims expertise
Familiarity with cross-marketing specialty lines
Ability to assist in strategic goal development and achievement
Knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance
Experience in agency management and best practices
