Role & Responsibilities As the Managing Director, Strategy & Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives that actualize Bold’s vision for a world-class K-12 public education as we prepare for growth. To help achieve our vision, we are searching for a candidate with 5+ years of strategic leadership experience in a high-performing setting. Ideal candidates will have a solutions- and systems-oriented mindset, the ability to coach teams to high levels of achievement, and a foundational belief that every child can succeed when we create a culture that holds everyone—team, students, and families— to high expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years strategic management or consulting experience in a high-performing environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, coaching and leading teams to high levels of performance
  • Bachelors degree required

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Bold’s goals, vision, values, and model
  • Drive a multi-year strategy that supports school performance and growth
  • Lead the ongoing development of Bold's research and data functions
  • Establish and monitor strategic organizational performance metrics; design and implement systems that contribute to achieving team objectives
  • Model Bold’s core values, building a positive student and team culture
  • Demonstrate a mission-first mindset that ensures all decisions and actions are aligned to Bold's goals, standards, and rooted in what is best for student achievement

  • The starting salary for this position is $150-180,000 annually and includes a full benefits package.
