The Managing Director, Creator Partnerships shapes and leads a global creator engagement strategy that advances the organization’s mission by translating complex priorities into scaled, creator-led storytelling. This role drives cross-functional alignment across Communications, Programs, and Partnerships to deliver measurable audience impact and organizational outcomes. The Managing Director, Creator Partnerships is accountable for building a high-performing creator ecosystem, integrating innovation, and influencing how the organization engages digital audiences worldwide.

Requirements

  • Generally expected to have 12+ years of relevant experience in digital media, partnerships, communications, or related field
  • Significant experience leading cross-functional strategies and teams; global experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to set strategy and drive enterprise-level outcomes
  • Deep expertise in creator economy, digital platforms, and audience engagement
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Proven success managing complex partnerships, budgets, and external stakeholders
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and balance short- and long-term priorities

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead a global creator partnerships strategy aligned to organizational priorities, with clear KPIs tied to reach, engagement, and mission impact
  • Translate enterprise objectives into scalable creator programs that influence public narratives and advance key initiatives
  • Shape and evolve video-first and creator-led content models across channels and program areas
  • Drive alignment across communications, policy, convenings, and program teams to integrate creators into priority initiatives
  • Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on digital engagement strategy, audience insights, and platform trends
  • Coordinate across regions and teams to ensure consistent messaging, brand integrity, and strategic cohesion
  • Build and steward a global network of high-impact creators, agencies, and partners
  • Lead high-value partnership negotiations and agreements, ensuring mutual value and mission alignment
  • Position the organization as a trusted partner within the creator ecosystem, including convenings and external representation
  • Establish enterprise-level measurement frameworks integrating content performance, sentiment analysis, and ROI
  • Use data and insights to continuously optimize strategy and inform organizational decision-making
  • Identify emerging trends, platforms, and formats to drive innovation and maintain competitive relevance
  • Oversee resource allocation, budgets, and external partnerships related to creator programming
  • Establish scalable systems, processes, and brand safety standards for creator engagement
  • Ensure operational excellence in execution, compliance, and performance tracking
  • Lead and develop a team of managers and senior staff, setting strategic priorities and accountability
