The NYC office is seeking a highly motivated Managing Director with a proven leadership track record within the industry to join our Business Process Improvement solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, or Business Related Field).
  • 20+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, or related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Proven track record of business development and maintaining strategic client relationships with key executives and C-Suite personnel.
  • Experience advising clients on key strategic matters, such as emerging trends, regulatory changes, and business insights relevant to client’s operations.
  • Experience working in and navigating a heavily matrixed organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or advanced degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain risk and resiliency, cloud, supply chain insights, autonomous operations, digital twin and advanced simulation (ML/AI), and integrated business planning.
  • Experience in agile factories, intelligent warehouse and distribution, X-as-a-Service, vendor risk management, CO2/water/materials reduction and replacement strategies and ESG value chain compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Developing business opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Leading engagements and ensuring projects are performed to Protiviti’s standards of quality and meet client needs.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction with services and work quality.
  • Developing lasting relationships within the business community and being respected for areas of expertise.
  • Leading the transformation and innovation supporting supply chain functions with people, process & technology.
  • Building a consulting practice, inclusive of people/offerings development and management, sales engagement and delivery, customer relationship management and building of market eminence.
  • Maintaining a current understanding of trends and tools for the modern supply chain with a focus on blending digital capabilities with traditional continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Differentiating Protiviti from other advisory firms by being early to market, leading through innovation and building partnerships and ecosystems.
  • Driving sales and revenue through direct and indirect business development, personal relationships, creative offerings, and exemplary delivery.
  • Adhering to delivery best practices.
  • Building strong teams and focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Partnering with other Protiviti and RH pillars to enable new and creative offerings for Protiviti’s customers to build large enterprise solutions.
  • Guiding clients in modernizing and building resiliency and innovation into their supply chain & operations.
  • Introducing processes and technologies that enable agility, improve decision-making through analytics and insights, lower costs, increase production speed and delivery, improve operations, identify and evaluate supply chain vulnerabilities, plan for disruptions, and evaluate the impact on their customers’ businesses and meeting social and environmental standards.
  • Introducing processes and technologies that enable agile factories, intelligent warehouse and distribution, and X-as-a-Service to maintain quality.
  • Identifying and managing risk to improve operations, enabling more resilient and flexible operations to drive revenue assurance and cost reductions.
  • Driving service offerings and go-to-market strategy, and building a new practice area.
  • Utilizing the Protiviti global footprint, strategic alliances, and partnership with Robert Half to create the right blend of offerings and services and expand upon current capabilities in partnership with technology and other Protiviti leadership.
  • Leading the organization in a strategy to win large, complex, transformational deals that include strategy, technology, and transformation.
  • Building the people strategy needed to drive a high-growth practice.
  • Being a keen assessor of talent and a strong customer advocate.
  • Being responsible for impeccable delivery and the customer success of their practice.
  • Promoting Protiviti’s mission and values and encouraging collaboration to drive success.
