About The Position

As a Managing Consultant at Valent Partners, you will design, execute, and deliver technology solutions addressing clients’ business challenges. The role includes leading complex technical projects, streamlining business processes and technology environments, and architecting and implementing custom, scalable solutions using a variety of languages and platforms. You will mentor junior team members, lead cross-functional teams and workstreams, and collaborate with clients and executive stakeholders to plan and execute successful engagements. Internally, you will work with Valent leaders on business operations and contribute to the firm's growth.

Valent Partners is a relationship-focused management and technology consulting firm. Its work includes strategy advisory, digital transformation, architecture design and implementation, digital product development, and advanced analytics and AI/ML across industries such as energy, utilities, consumer products, travel and entertainment, and direct sales. Team members are expected to contribute to the firm beyond client deliverables, including through business development, recruitment, and thought leadership.

The firm works in small project teams, typically two to eight people, alongside clients. It applies mature agile development principles and collaborates directly with clients and colleagues, in person whenever possible and virtually when necessary. Team members work across varied projects, industries, and technology platforms to gain breadth of experience.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least five years of experience in technology consulting, software development, or systems architecture.
• Broad technical experience across multiple languages, frameworks, and platforms, with the ability to select and apply appropriate tools.
• Experience architecting and implementing custom technology solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing complex system integrations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect technical solutions to business objectives and client outcomes.
• Experience leading small teams and delivering successful project outcomes while contributing directly to the work.
• Skill in driving alignment across cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks to meet diverse client needs.
• Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.
