About The Position

As a managing consultant, you will be a key member of the ELS PV delivery team, managing and delivering consulting engagements for clients, forming strong client relationships and supporting the professional development of others. You will support a variety of high-impact activities, including thought leadership in a dynamic global setting. This role requires demonstrated leadership attributes, a solid blend of industry/functional expertise plus a strong consulting or other client-facing professional services background, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences, engineering, business, or a related field
  • Typically, a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with a blend of practical industry (PV functional) and consulting (professional services) experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex (multi-stream) project environment with a defined governance structure, including as a workstream lead
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Ability to work equally well both independently and semi-independently based on needs of client and delivery model
  • Ability to work steadily in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment.
  • Communicates effectively with individuals and small groups, demonstrating clear and compelling verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated capability to understand and appreciate detail in the context of the client's business.
  • Can understand complex issues and break them down into key elements (more advanced analytical skills)
  • Understands industry regulations and how the client's business competes in their industry / sector
  • Building and maintaining complex project plans, and managing activities in line with the plan
  • Advanced understanding of data gathering techniques and analytical ability
  • Ability to keep up with all aspects of time and expense reporting in a timely manner

  • Depth and breadth across multiple of the following: PV intake, ICSR processing, Aggregate reporting, Compliance monitoring, Signaling, Local PV affiliates, Reporting/analytics, QPPV office, PV IT systems, Business case development, Organizational design, Training, Change management, Project management, Business process design and re-engineering (including LEAN/Six Sigma design concepts).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage execution of consulting engagements with a focus on high-quality outcomes, including but not limited to on-time, on budget high quality delivery aligned with client expectations.
  • Engage regularly with client counterpart(s) without senior level supervision. Recognize when re-alignment on scope or budget may be needed and engage stakeholders appropriately.
  • Produces clear plans, schedules and timescales using appropriate analytical tools. Manages activities in line with the overall plan and understands the inter-dependencies of work streams Independently lead delivery in a small team setting with minimal oversight, lead complex workstreams in the context of a larger project and manage own and consultant’s deliverables ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Acts as a primary (internal and external) contact person for a team or function. Has significant contact with client at process owner level. Plans and facilitates significant meetings.
  • Build and maintain high-value client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Identifying opportunities for follow-on work or other new opportunities at the client.
  • Contribute technical content to proposal development, client pitches, and thought leadership efforts.
  • Assist new team members in acclimatizing to ELIQUENT.
  • Manage and mentor consultants and senior consultants.
  • Contribute to the development of existing tools and methodologies. Actively participate in end of project learning events.
