About The Position
The Managing Consultant will provide employee benefits consulting services and lead daily account service for all assigned clients. This position serves as a key point of contact for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 7 years of employee benefits consulting experience
- Strong client facing and communication skills
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
- Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Life and Health license in good standing, required within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Drive business results through effective client service, management and retention
- Manage day-to-day client activities
- Prepare for and facilitate client meetings
- Independently manage and execute projects.
- Manage complex projects, teams and client deliverables.
- Support and/or lead the development of multi-year strategic plans incorporating client- specific business needs and objectives
- Understand, update, and create financial models.
- Act as a trainer and mentor for consultants.
- Develop relationships across internal, client and vendor organizations
