Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to support the continued growth of the firm’s State and Local Government practice, with a particular emphasis on South Carolina state government and greater Columbia region. Guidehouse's State and Local Government practice serves clients in the areas of business design, organizational strategy, program strategy and implementation, market analysis, financial modeling, operational analysis, process improvement, change management, technology strategy and transformation, compliance monitoring, program management, and reporting. Key activities include: Manage and lead project delivery teams, including oversight of scope, timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple engagements Serve as a trusted advisor to state and local government clients, translating strategy into actionable and sustainable solutions Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior- and mid-level staff, fostering professional growth and high-quality delivery Drive and support business development efforts, including RFP responses, proposal development, client presentations, and account planning Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal Guidehouse teams, particularly across South Carolina and key local governments Translate strategy into action for our clients
