About The Position

Berkeley Research Group is building a Financial Institution Operations & Technology practice, initially focused on commercial and consumer banking. The practice combines banking expertise, technology, and AI-enabled delivery to help financial institutions improve operations. Its delivery model uses small multidisciplinary pods that work closely with clients from discovery through implementation, while also developing reusable offerings and growing the practice. The role is available at Managing Consultant and Senior Managing Consultant levels. The analyst connects client objectives and operational realities with the requirements, data, and workflows needed to build effective solutions. This is a hands-on delivery position leading business and technology analysis on complex workstreams, remaining involved through development and testing, and supporting client adoption. The role partners with the pod leader on priorities and outcomes and with the technical lead on feasibility and design; it is not the pod's primary software engineering or overall engagement lead role. The position works directly with client business and technology teams and pod colleagues. It owns the quality and traceability of business analysis while contributing to shared delivery outcomes. The analyst uses approved AI tools responsibly, validates outputs, protects client information, coaches colleagues, captures reusable assets and lessons learned, and contributes to proposals, offerings, recruiting, and thought leadership as the practice grows. Preferred locations are New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Dallas, and Boston; strong candidates elsewhere may be considered case by case. Candidates must be able to verify their legal right to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
