The position requires exercising professional judgment, rendering competent legal services for youth in youth courts and as adults in district court, and demonstrating a passion for working collaboratively with underprivileged populations. The goal is to ensure needed services are provided and to continually advocate for and improve the level of services provided by the Office of the Public Defender (OPD).
