About The Position

Diesel Barbershop is hiring a working Manager or Co-Manager. A licensed barber or stylist who leads from the chair. You'll spend the majority of your shift cutting while supporting team development, shop operations, and the client experience. This is not a booth rental and not a title-only position. Requirements

Active Barber or Cosmetology license in Texas
Proven skill in men's cuts, fades, and razor work
Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
Available nights and weekends
Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented

Responsibilities

Perform men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and straight razor shaves
Build client relationships that drive rebooking and retention
Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic
Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
Coach staff on performance metrics (rebooking rate, average ticket, retail sales, and service time)
Enforce Diesel standards and procedures (service steps, appearance guidelines, cash handling, phone etiquette, appointments)
Assist with cash drawer accuracy, deposits, and end-of-day procedures
Handle client concerns professionally
