Manager (Little Finch – DEN Airport)

Olive and FinchDenver, CO
Onsite

About The Position

Olive & Finch Collective is a Denver-based hospitality group committed to fresh, chef-driven meals, exceptional guest experiences, and a people-first culture. Since opening in 2013, our growing portfolio now includes restaurants, neighborhood cafés, a full-service bakeshop, a robust catering and events division, retail and grab-and-go operations, and multiple locations at Denver International Airport. At Olive & Finch, we believe in inclusive leadership, sustainable growth, and nourishing both our guests and our teams. The Manager supports the General Manager / Senior General Manager in overseeing daily airport kiosk operations. This exempt, non-tip-eligible role is responsible for the floor leadership, coaching, and staffing of the kiosk barista team. Because the location runs as a walk-up kiosk without traditional dining rooms or standalone cashiers, the Manager focuses on driving exceptional speed of service, ensuring precise register and cash handling, keeping grab-and-go displays fully merchandised, and maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and airport compliance. The Manager also assists with daily labor controls, kiosk supply ordering, and operational consistency to deliver the Little Finch mission within a unique, compact airport environment.

  • Strong knowledge of customer service, register/POS systems, cash-handling procedures, food safety, and airport-specific operational regulations.
  • Solid financial savvy with practical experience in labor scheduling, tracking product waste, and managing inventory stock levels.
  • Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to manage multi-shift airport kiosk operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-volume airport kiosk, terminal market, or fast-casual travel environment is strongly preferred.

  • Ensure grab-and-go coolers, pastry cases, and retail displays are continuously clean, visually appealing, and fully restocked to capture terminal foot traffic.
  • Lead shift transitions, provide in-the-moment coaching on recipe and cash-handling accuracy, and step in to lead kiosk shifts independently in the General Manager's absence.
  • Support the implementation of company operational systems, opening/closing checklists, and training programs to maintain brand consistency.
  • Monitor kiosk counters and coffee brewing equipment to ensure total functionality; coordinate with leadership to address prompt technical repairs and maintenance.
