About The Position
Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in Package and Technology Enablement | Package Functional Transformation. The role coordinates Oracle-based software development and implementation services that address enterprise business needs, analyzes user needs and software requirements for design feasibility within time and cost constraints, and delivers components of engagements that create business solutions for large companies. The Manager participates in teams responsible for business requirements, functional and process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures for Oracle modules. The role also provides coaching and leadership, supports recruiting and retention, supervises and assigns work to technical and engineering personnel, serves as a liaison among business stakeholders, project teams, developers and testers, and coordinates with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications. The Manager consults with customers and other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues. National travel of 50% is required; telecommuting is permitted.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, a STEM field, or a related field, and at least 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or a related occupation; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience using Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management, Procurement Management, Advanced Pricing, Advanced Preferences, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing modules to manage software development and implementation services.
- At least 3 years of experience using Oracle JDE solutions and Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel to gather and configure Oracle system requirements into functional design.
- At least 3 years of experience managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and developing and maintaining contact with key decision makers.
- At least 3 years of experience managing full life-cycle implementations of complex deliverables using the specified Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne modules, and building custom applications with the Oracle JDE toolset, C Programming, and Oracle SQL Developer.
- At least 3 years of experience managing business transformation and ongoing operations and maintenance services for the full suite of Oracle software solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience managing and delivering client engagement components to identify, design, and implement business solutions for large companies using Oracle JDE solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience enabling medium- and large-scale client go-to-market strategies by converting design inputs into process flows and developing commercial operations and supply chain solutions using the specified Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne modules.
- Ability to travel nationally 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Oracle software development and implementation services for enterprise business needs.

- Deliver engagement components that create business solutions for large companies.
- Participate in identifying business requirements and performing functional design, process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures for Oracle modules.
- Act as a counselor and coach; participate in staff recruitment and retention; and provide leadership and support to teams and staff in local offices.
- Supervise and assign work to programmers, designers, technologists, technicians, and other engineering or scientific personnel.
- Serve as a technical liaison among the business, project team, and developers or testers, and coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.
- Consult with customers and other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues, including software system design and maintenance.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
