This is a full-time, in-person position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related construction/engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, preconstruction, or estimating.
  • Willingness to relocate.
  • Experience leading a team of Project Engineers or Estimators.
  • Outstanding communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective meeting management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a full range of preconstruction activities, including estimating, design management, and subcontractor procurement.
  • Prepare and organize estimates under multiple contract delivery methods to ensure complete and competitive proposals.
  • Develop accurate and professional bids/proposals that support clients and secure new projects.
  • Prepare comparative analyses of estimates and explain variances to project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate teams of Project Engineers to develop multidisciplinary estimates.
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids and provide recommendations for award.
  • Evaluate and apply historical project information, including self-performed work.
  • Lead responses to RFPs and represent Holder at meetings and industry events.
  • Create, update, and present project deliverables and tools to clients.
  • Lead meetings with owners, architects, and engineers during the preconstruction phase.
  • Collaborate with Operations to drive process improvements using VDC, IPD, and other enhancements.
