The Manager, Workforce Health & Safety reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Manager, Workforce Health & Safety provides leadership and operational/program oversight of the Workforce Health and Safety team within a designated geographic region or a specified business unit(s) of Northwestern Medicine. Manager Area of Focus/Responsibilities: Supports overall Workforce Health and Safety for the system while collaborating with Senior Leaders, Regional Managers and other key stakeholders Uses an analytical framework to create, develop, measure and report on Workforce Health and Safety metrics to measure key programs and opportunities Oversees Workforce Health and Safety system, SafetyNet, and third-party programmer to ensure enhancements and or break/fixes are completed timely and on budget Identify, prioritize and execute complex system level projects to enhance the Workforce Health and Safety program. Coordinate/liaison with Occupational Health partners to collaborate on projects, improve processes, coordinate mass vaccination clinics and audit intercompany budget transfer process Provide manager oversight during integration and alignment of Workforce Health and Safety programs for acquired or merged companies Manages a team of workforce health and safety professionals who partner collaboratively with the functional areas across Northwestern Medicine in support of organizational and team objectives. Coordinates team resources for responsiveness to organizational priorities. Oversee Workforce Health and Safety policy updates
