About The Position

Lead and advance UW Health's workforce safety program through data-driven strategies that reduce employee injury risk and strengthen a culture of safety. Partner with leaders across the organization to identify trends, implement safety improvements, and drive meaningful outcomes for workforce well-being. Serve as the organizational expert for workforce safety reporting systems, analytics, ergonomic programs, and injury prevention initiatives. Transform safety data into actionable insights, education, and system-wide improvements that support team members across UW Health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Required
• 3 years of relevant experience in occupational health, injury prevention, safety programs, program management, or related work. Required

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Occupational, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Health Administration, or related field. Preferred
• 3 years of experience analyzing data and identifying improvement opportunities. Preferred
• 5 years of relevant experience in project/program management, healthcare operations, or workforce safety. Preferred
• Experience using incident/event reporting systems. Preferred
• Experience working within a healthcare system. Preferred
• Certification with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board or Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin or RN with Certification in Occupational Health (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) Preferred
