About The Position

The successful candidate will provide strategic support to TD Canadian Wealth leadership through both internal and external analysis. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Wealth Strategy, you will deliver high visibility projects as part of an internal consulting team, working with partners across TD Wealth's multiple business lines. To be successful in this role, you must have a collaborative, team-driven delivery mindset, and a high degree of comfort working in an unstructured environment to solve complex problems with a significant degree of ambiguity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant business experience in financial services industry
  • Experience analyzing complex business problems and conducting in-depth secondary research
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
  • University degree in business management or related discipline
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a solid background working with data, conducting analysis, interpreting results, solving complex business problems, and writing reports/presentations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented project management skills; well organized, with a high attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • experience and knowledge of Wealth Management would be an asset

  • MBA graduate and/or CPA/CFA qualification would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute analytical and strategic projects, from start to finish, as part of a project team; includes project design and scoping; aligning partner expectations; project management and updates, and timely delivery
  • Conduct research and financial analysis on key competitors and industry trends, leveraging both internal and external sources of information
  • Employ strategic frameworks, interpret results, generate insights, and write memos and decks to provide findings and recommendations to business partners
  • Effectively communicate key insights, ideas, and strategies to an executive audience in a clear, compelling, and concise manner
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence across the Bank to achieve stakeholder consensus and maintain a deep understanding of the business
