About The Position

Part of the TD Bank Group, TD Wealth Private Wealth Management provides a comprehensive range of wealth management services to high-net-worth (investable assets of at least $750,000) individuals, families, and organizations with wide-ranging often-complex needs. Managed Solutions are a critical tool in advancing TD Wealth's growth goals and strategies for Investment Management. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Managed Solutions, the Platform Specialist, Managed Solutions, will work alongside a team of professionals within Wealth Advice Solutions & Enablement to deliver investment management platform support and implementation guidance to Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers at TD Private Wealth Management.

Requirements

  • University/college degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant wealth or investment industry experience
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of investment products, fee-based programs, portfolio management and modelling concepts, and discretionary and non-discretionary investment management practices
  • Experience working with Wealth 360
  • Familiarity with other investment management and wealth technology applications including Croesus, Kyndryl, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly identify issues, triage inquiries, understand root cause, and propose solutions or workarounds
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to simplify and discuss complex concepts
  • Highly organized and process-oriented, with a strong ability to prioritize work efforts and ensure deadlines are met

Nice To Haves

  • Finance, business, or related discipline preferred
  • Financial or securities designations (CIM, CFA, CSC, CPH, etc.) considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner and platform/process expert, delivering personalized application support, pro-active guidance, coaching, and sharing implementation best-practices to TD Wealth Investment Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and their teams
  • Resolve inbound product/platform inquiries from front office users, referring matters and escalating complex issues to business and technology partners as required
  • Develop and facilitate presentations and training sessions to advisor teams, acting as a subject matter expert for investment management platforms and programs, and assist in skill and knowledge development for new hires and competitive recruits
  • Maintain expert knowledge of TD Wealth's investment management programs and platforms, and assist in development of and updates to advisor-facing procedures, tool guides, user-guides, and other reference material
  • Act as an important first-line of support for investment management platform users and play an important role in collection and prioritization of customer and colleague feedback and irritants
  • Contribute to investment management platform roadmap development by actively sharing insights and recommendations that drive platform enhancements, address defects, and strengthen advisor and client experience, and operational productivity
  • Support platform testing, validation, and documentation ahead of new releases/upgrades in partnership with partners in Business Architecture, Technology, Change Management, etc.
  • Participate fully and actively as a member of the Managed Solutions team and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive, and caring team culture and working environment
  • Work on ad hoc and non-routine projects and tasks as they arise
