About The Position

The Volunteer Services Manager is responsible for managing the integration of volunteers into the health care team by implementing processes for volunteer recruitment, screening, interviewing, training/orientation, placement, retention, discipline, evaluation, and termination, as well as the supervision of Volunteer Services staff. As a Family Support Services staff member, the Volunteer Services Manager will demonstrate a commitment to Cook Children's Health Care System Operating Values, as follows, integrating them into each job function. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in non-profit volunteer administration required
  • Computer proficiency required

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Volgistics software preferred
  • Certification preferred (CVA or CAVS)
