About The Position

Temple Health is seeking a Manager, Video & Visual Storytelling to lead the creation, direction, and delivery of compelling video content. This role is a hands-on production lead that combines strategic thinking with daily production execution, serving as both a lead videographer/editor and a creative partner to marketing and communications teams. The Manager will report to the Director of Brand Engagement and will be responsible for the daily direction of in-house video production and identifying opportunities for video storytelling that align with marketing, communications, advancement, and human resources initiatives. This role involves anticipating content needs based on trends, events, and strategic priorities, and managing the video production workflow from concept development and storyboarding to final delivery. The goal is to ensure all video content is on-brand, clinically appropriate, emotionally resonant, and optimized for various channels, from short-form social media to longer-form narrative content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Multi-media, Video Production, Photography or other related field OR Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years experience with professional video production (in-house, agency or brand environment).
  • Previous experience and strong hands-on expertise in filming, lighting, audio, and editing.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Videography in a medical setting.
  • Previous experience working in complex, highly regulated environments (healthcare, higher ed, public sector).

Responsibilities

  • Create, direct, and deliver compelling video content that advances the health system's brand, marketing, and communications priorities.
  • Serve as lead videographer/editor and creative partner to marketing and communications teams.
  • Provide day-to-day direction for in-house video production.
  • Determine opportunities for video storytelling in alignment with marketing, communications, advancement, and human resources efforts.
  • Anticipate and visualize content needs based on current trends, events, and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with key MarComm stakeholders for concept development, storyboarding, and shot list creation.
  • Manage the daily operations of video needs.
  • Ensure video storytelling is on-brand, clinically appropriate, emotionally resonant, and optimized for channel performance.
