About The Position

A VMI Specialist coordinates vendor-managed inventory and control activities at customer sites. The role aims to maximize customer service and satisfaction, ensure Capital Electric products are available at the point of purchase or warehouse, and add business value through efficient service and relationship management. The specialist conducts customer-site inventory and replenishes materials while providing excellent customer service. The role involves communicating with customer personnel and Capital Electric’s inside and outside sales teams, using Eclipse and barcode scanning hardware and software, and working with sales, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, and credit departments. The position pays $25–$30 per hour.

Requirements

Clean driving record.
Willingness to drive more than two hours to service customer sites.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
Good organizational skills.
Some electrical product knowledge.
Eclipse order entry and receiving experience.
Customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
