About The Position

IQVIA Inc. is seeking a Manager, Value and Access Advisory. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing resources for project completion, executing high-quality research and analysis, and designing client reports and presentations. The position focuses on developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the development of intellectual property. The role also includes developing market access proposals, deepening knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market, and coaching junior staff and project team members. This position has supervisory responsibilities for associates, associate consultants, consultants, or related positions. IQVIA is a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence, aiming to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative medical treatments.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology or related field or foreign equivalent.
  • With Master’s five (5) years or with Bachelor’s seven (7) years life sciences strategy consulting experience.
  • Working in the healthcare or life science industries to include conducting and analyzing primary or secondary market research on treatment paradigm, pathophysiology, clinical endpoints and commercial therapy area landscape.
  • Performing quantitative modelling or qualitative analysis to assist in the identification of client issues.
  • Market access in the global markets in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Three (3) years (with master's or bachelor’s) project management of projects with at least 2 junior consultants.
  • Requires supervisory responsibilities for associates, associate consultants, consultants or related positions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
  • Execute high quality research and analysis.
  • Design, structure, and deliver client reports and presentations.
  • Develop client relationships through face-to-face discussions or workshops, telephone, or email contact.
  • Identify opportunities for follow-on work and new leads.
  • Support the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements.
  • Support development of approximately 10 market access proposals annually.
  • Develop broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on-the-job experience and training.
  • Coach project team members and support them to fulfill their personal objectives.
  • Coach junior staff.
  • Lead some learning, development and recruiting activities.
