About The Position

The U.S Strategic Alignment Manager supports the Chief of Staff to the National Field President and US One Team in orchestrating the U.S. System strategy to life across the field organization. This role requires strong analytical, communication, organizational, time management and creative skills. The Manager proactively drives exceptional visibility, alignment and engagement of the U.S. system narrative with key stakeholders through critical communication channels and strategic orchestration. The Manager is a strategic-thinker in identifying opportunities to integrate and sequence cross-functional work and in exploring relevant ways to deliver compelling messages that drive desired behaviors among stakeholders. The Manager is adept at understanding and synthesizing feedback in a face-paced environment. The Manager will closely collaborate with all U.S. cross functional teams to help align internal and external stakeholders on system priorities. The position is based in Chicago and is expected to work from MHQ three days each week.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in corporate communications, event planning, or training and development, preferably within an organization with a widely dispersed employee base.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Draft written communications and produce and edit multimedia communications and videos using digital platforms to drive desired behaviors, with minimal oversight.
  • Support leading the team communications, staff meetings and special events and webcasts.
  • Support the analysis of digital communication effectiveness and contribute to recommendations for improvement.
  • Cultivate innovative ideas that inspire key audiences to achieve successes in business priorities, harvest results and then celebrate successes.
  • Draft PowerPoint presentations, support all stakeholder engagement activities, draft all meeting recaps and action items.
  • Support messaging activities from the National Field President.
  • Work with Chief of Staff to identify key business priorities across each function and then weave them together into powerful campaigns to drive change across the business, working with leadership to measure results and impact.
  • Meet all deadlines and anticipate when stakeholders will need information.
  • Manage stakeholders so all key parties have information at the right time for preparation.
  • Lead with Curiosity and Growth-Mindset, seeking feedback from all stakeholders, prioritizing feedback and adjusting plans based on input.
  • Support the COS and NFP Executive assistant in all aspects of leading off-site meetings, logistics planning, stakeholder engagement and support.
