Manager Turbine Support
About The Position
Responsible for executing turbine generator outage project teams to support safe, reliable, and efficient outage activities consistent with Constellation and Clean Energy Center (CEC) goals. The role implements standardized outage processes and procedures across assigned CECs and reinforces standards and expectations for Outage Planning & Services personnel and others who interface with those teams. It promotes an error-free, professional work environment through procedure use and adherence, Human Performance fundamentals, Technical Human Performance techniques, and coaching and mentoring to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of power generation experience, or an associate's degree and 10 years of power generation experience, or a high school diploma/GED and 12 years of power generation experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in at least 3 refueling outages.
- Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and pass favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed plans, identify and assign personnel, and develop detailed work scope.
- Develop scope, schedule, and budget using the life cycle cost management system.
- Apply expert knowledge to execute refueling outage services at assigned CECs and serve as the primary communicator with client CEC management and major vendor service organizations.
- Direct project completion and closeout of financial and technical documentation; provide fiscal data and promote fiscal accountability among project participants.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote them among project participants at CECs.
- Communicate technical, financial, and work-progress status effectively to all levels of corporate and CEC management.
- Reinforce appropriate fundamental behaviors within the assigned area of responsibility, including administering coaching, mentoring, and performance management for managers and employees.
- Enforce procedure use and adherence, Human Performance fundamentals, and Technical Human Performance techniques; provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
