About The Position

Iowa 80's Training Program is designed to drive your success, accelerate your career, and allow you to take the wheel! This program offers one year of structured training at Iowa 80, home of the World's Largest Truckstop, with opportunities to visit other locations. The operation runs 24/7/365, and trainees will gain experience across various departments including the Fuel Center, Main Store, Service Center, Truckomat, Maintenance/Housekeeping, Museum, Iowa80.com, Headquarters, and Special Projects, learning alongside long-term staff on all shifts.

Requirements

Customer service experience
Strong work ethic
Eagerness to learn and to teach others
Open availability to any shift, weekends, and holidays
Eagerness to relocate for promotion upon completion of the program
Must undergo and pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, background check, and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

Complete one year of structured training at Iowa 80 and visit other Truckstop locations.
Spend time on each shift learning alongside long-term staff in various departments.
Go above and beyond for customers and employees.
Become a specialist in each department's programs, procedures, and systems.
Ask a lot of questions and be open to adapting to different environments.
Show strong initiative and communicate effective ways of conducting business.
Take ownership of assigned projects from leadership.
Demonstrate a leadership mentality and a desire to grow.
