About The Position

Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group`s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (2 sailing; 4 currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers. The Manager, Trade Marketing Operations NA will report to the trade marketing leadership for North America. They will help support the delivery and execution of Explora Journeys’ omni-channel marketing activities for the trade marketing channel in North America. The role includes supporting asset creation, managing all trafficking of final approved media assets, supporting updates to the marketing budgets etc. At all times they will work in close conjunction with the corporate team in Geneva, Switzerland. This position requires 4 days / week in our offices in Miami, FL.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years experience in trade marketing.
  • Familiarity with advertising and marketing principles
  • Experience trafficking and managing assets
  • Experience in media budgeting
  • Experience working with outside vendors and managing projects with several vendors
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to review marketing assets to ensure adherence to brand standards
  • Experience working with a global team with priority markets a plus
  • Similar Marketing/Brand/PR experience preferably in the Luxury cruise or Luxury Hospitality/Travel Industry
  • Structured, organized approach
  • US Passport or US Permanent Residents

  • Openness to travel up to 10% of the time mostly nationally occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Directly support the NA (US, Canada and Mexico) Trade Marketing leader in executing the annual paid media strategy.
  • Coordinate paid advertising efforts including gathering proposals, and organizing insertion orders.
  • Manage the adaptations of trade assets, ensuring brand consistency and effective execution across all channels.
  • Lead the trafficking and final delivery of all assets for trade plans in a timely way to support commercial objectives.
  • Assist with procurement process and oversee invoice / budget tracking, payment and reconciliation, providing support with regular reports on media budget status.
  • Work closely with Agency partners.
  • Support development of trade B2B assets, including the B2B HUB Insider newsletter for the NA market, social posts and consumer CRM communications ensuring all content has relevance, and adds value, adding creativity to content.
  • Manage central inventory, fulfilment center and print production of B2B collateral, trade kits and ad hoc requests
  • Collaborate with NA Commercial team and extend full support when required for partner marketing campaigns, including both online and off line and to support any required assets for trade shows and events.
