About The Position

IQ-EQ is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead client service delivery for its tax practice, with a strong focus on tax compliance, fund structuring, and consulting for the alternative asset industry. The role supports fund formation and tax planning, develops the tax service offering, and guides clients toward effective outcomes. The Tax Manager is also responsible for building and developing a high-performing team and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
CPA designation.
At least six years of progressive federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience.
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, corporate and partnership returns, tax provisions, and state and local tax requirements.
Effective communication and exceptional client service skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing team members.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Taxation.
Private Equity and alternative asset industry expertise.
FATCA/CRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver tax compliance, planning, and consulting engagements.
