Reporting to the Executive Director, Change Enablement and Talent Strategy, the Manager, Talent, is a subject matter expert who is responsible for working in partnership across HR, Talent, and the George Brown Polytechnic (GBP) community to deliver, refine, and continuously improve priority talent programs, processes, and practices that support a positive employee experience and enable GBP to achieve its strategic objectives. The incumbent will support GBP in becoming a high performing organization through a focus on integrated talent management practices and processes. For this assignment, the Manager, Talent Management will be responsible for partnering across the People & Culture (P&C) team (i.e., HR Consulting and Employee Experience, Total Rewards, Employee Learning & Development, Talent Solutions/Technology) and additional stakeholders across multiple levels of the Polytechnic to develop, implement and monitor the MyPath performance program, employee engagement listening sessions, associated communications, action tracking, reporting, and related improvement initiatives as part of the overall P&C strategy to simplify, automate, and drive efficiencies for leaders, employees, and the department.
