About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Director, Supply Chain Planning, you will provide strategic direction and leadership for inventory management across manufacturing facilities, co‑packers, and distribution centers. You will lead supply planning for a portion of the dry product portfolio, overseeing production master planning, long‑term scheduling, inventory planning, capacity planning, and deployment activities. You will partner cross‑functionally to optimize sourcing decisions, improve service and inventory performance, and support the Integrated Business Planning process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, logistics, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of experience in a supply chain environment, including people management experience.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading both a direct team and cross‑functional business partners.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification from the Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS) or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute manufacturing and distribution strategies that achieve target customer service levels while minimizing inventory investment.
  • Lead network supply and capacity planning, including long‑range and medium‑term planning activities.
  • Manage and develop a medium‑sized team of Supply Planners, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Transportation, and Warehousing to position finished goods inventory that balances customer fill rate, inventory carrying cost, and transportation efficiency.
  • Establish guidelines to enable cost‑effective and efficient movement of finished goods while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory health, including aging inventory, discontinued items, and restricted stock, to maximize revenue recovery and minimize profit and loss impact.
  • Anticipate risks and opportunities and communicate insights to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners to support informed decision making.
  • Partner with Line of Business teams to resolve supply issues and support business objectives.
  • Lead production planning activities by coordinating sourcing strategies, production plans, and deployment plans for assigned businesses and manufacturing locations.
  • Serve as the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) point of contact for dry network optimization initiatives and due diligence activities.
  • Partner with Transportation and Warehousing teams to plan and communicate annual and periodic changes to freight and warehousing flows.
