About The Position

The Beer Supply Planning team ensures product availability by driving strong in-stock performance and maintaining inventory health across Sam’s Club. Collaborating closely with merchants, suppliers, distributors, and cross-functional partners, the team supports everyday demand, seasonal changes, and new item launches. The role involves balancing a localized distributor network with market-specific needs while continuously enhancing planning, communication, and execution processes. This dynamic environment requires expertise in supply chain management, data analysis, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making to deliver efficient and effective supply planning solutions. The (USA) Manager, Supply Planning leads the development and execution of replenishment strategies to optimize inventory flow and operational efficiency. This role leverages advanced data analysis and industry insights to inform decision-making, drive process improvements, and address supply challenges. Collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, and Operations, the manager ensures alignment with business objectives and financial targets. The position requires strategic acumen, strong business partnering skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable plans that enhance supply chain performance and support overall company goals.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in supply chain management and replenishment planning with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
• Advanced data analysis skills to interpret business performance metrics and drive strategic decision-making.
• Solid financial management knowledge, including profit and loss insights and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to resolve supply issues and improve supplier performance.
• Ability to leverage digital tools and emerging data sources to enhance forecasting and inventory management.
• Strong business partnering skills to communicate insights and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization within supply planning functions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze merchandise sales data and industry trends to inform supply planning decisions and optimize inventory levels.
• Develop and execute replenishment plans in collaboration with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions to ensure supply reliability and efficiency.
• Leverage digital tools and data analytics to identify root causes of supply issues and drive continuous process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners to align strategies and resolve operational challenges.
• Support financial planning by analyzing profit and loss impacts related to supply and inventory management.
