About The Position

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its Supply Chain organization. The position is preferred to be located in Benton Harbor, Michigan, but remote work will be considered. The team implements Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions and maintains and improves existing warehouse systems by addressing business and system issues and driving enhancements across the Supply Chain organization.

The role involves understanding operational processes at Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) and Finished Goods Distribution Centers (FDCs) for incorporation into a new WMS design. The manager leads training strategy and curriculum design, guides a team through Go Live and Hypercare, and oversees the development of standard operating procedures, quick reference guides, training content, and training environments. The role also coordinates training plans, develops training metrics, learns relevant system configuration processes, assists with testing, and contributes to system design and blueprint activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Operations.
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Order Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in Logistics Outbound processes.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Communication, leadership, organization, project management, and change management skills.

Nice To Haves

• SAP knowledge; WMS experience is a differentiator.
• Design Thinking experience.
• Experience with IT interface, integration, system design, or system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Understand RDC and FDC operational processes and incorporate them into a new WMS design.
• Lead the training strategy and course curriculum design.
• Lead a team through Go Live and Hypercare.
• Oversee development of SOPs, QRGs, training content, training environment, and other materials to support retention of WMS processes and functionality.
• Coordinate and deconflict Go Live training plans, including Basics of Infios, Train the Trainer, End User, and Remedial training.
• Develop training metrics to track whether training is on schedule, tasks are complete, and training reduces errors and issues during Go Lives and Hypercares.
• Learn relevant system configuration processes.
• Assist in testing.
• Assist in the system design and blueprint phase.
• Manage issues or escalate them as appropriate, taking accountability.
