Manager - Supply Chain Procurement
About The Position
The Manager for Supply Chain Procurement is responsible for executing sourcing activities, managing purchase requisition information, supporting supplier engagement, and helping drive cost, quality, and service improvements across assigned materials categories when purchasing direct goods and supplies that are used in production of Deluxe’s physical goods sold to customers. This role is the Sourcing & Procurement Execution Lead representative for Procurement, supporting specific categories of goods and services purchased by Deluxe that directly support Deluxe’s development of paper-based products. This role leads sourcing strategies and tasks across assigned direct categories (e.g., print, paper, inks, envelopes, etc.). The Manager will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Accounts Payable, warehouse leads and Supply Planning to plan, purchase, and resolve supply-related issues. The role involves entering purchase requisition information in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring pricing, lead times, and commercial terms are accurate for ordering goods/supplies, conducting RFQs, researching supplier options, analyzing quotes, evaluating supplier capabilities, and supporting supplier selection decisions. Additionally, the role supports QN/NCR ticket resolution by working with internal teams and suppliers on corrective actions or replacements. The Manager will use SAP S/4HANA for PIR/PR creation and maintenance, goods receipt follow-up, quality notification tracking, reporting, and master data support. Supplier onboarding will be managed using Ariba. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes, data accuracy, and cycle times, assisting in cost analysis, cost savings tracking and value engineering initiatives, and maintaining spend data and contributing to category reporting, dashboards, and sourcing pipeline visibility. The Manager will maintain regular communication with suppliers to confirm acknowledgments, monitor delivery schedules, and escalate potential disruptions, and assist in supplier performance tracking, including on-time delivery, quality metrics, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelors or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement
- 5-7 Years experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA purchasing processes
- Experience using SAP Ariba for sourcing, contracting, or supplier interactions
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical specifications
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience supporting direct materials, MRO, engineered parts, or industrial supply categories
- Familiarity with supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and RFQ/RFP processes
- Understanding of quality notifications (QNs/NCRs) and corrective action workflows
- Must be 18 years of age or older
