About The Position

The Manager, Supply Chain Operations will supervise all activities in the assigned area, schedule staffing levels to assure proper productivity, and adjust schedules to meet department needs. This role is responsible for the orientation and training program for new personnel, monitoring A.V. tapes and testing, and assigning new personnel to appropriate staff for exposure to all functions. The manager will also assist management in various functions, maintain regular contact with other hospital personnel to review service efficiency, and collect and collate statistical data and graphs for reports relating to task performance and productivity. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years CSS/Material Management experience; OR Associate's degree with five (5) years CSS/Material Management experience; OR High School diploma or GED with seven (7) years CSS/Material Management experience with two (2) of the seven (7) years as a CSS Supervisor.
  • Must be able to solve problems and handle responsibilities under pressure.
  • Willing to learn, be dependable, reliable, emotionally stable, pay attention to details, and able to perform functions outlined in physical requirements.
  • Seeks assistance of supervisory personnel as necessary.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read, write, and speak pleasantly and effectively.
  • Possess honesty, integrity, and trustworthily qualities.
  • Maintains a service attitude.
  • Ability to organize and maintain records, work independently, and adjust to changes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, power Point and other computer skills, and customer service skills to include telephone communication skills.
