About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. Our customer-focused supply chain operations team is hiring an experienced inventory manager to provide leadership and coordination of the day-to-day PAR Levels and replenishment of supplies throughout the warehouse and hospital facilities. This role provides leadership, management, and coordination of the day-to-day operations of supply inventory auditing, and control. The manager will forecast future supply needs and order when needed, optimizing inventory cost efficiency per customer requests to reduce labor and holding costs. They will organize regular cycle counts to verify system accuracy compared to physical inventory, and supervise inventory staff, including evaluations, scheduling, hiring, and training. The role is expected to maintain inventory levels in Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) locations and stock them adequately, while tracking inventory levels continuously to ensure optimal stock at all times. Building and maintaining relationships with department leaders to ensure they have adequate supply needs is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency with six to eight years of relevant work experience, along with proven leadership skills required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as office and/or facility related equipment and strong communication and organizational skills required.
  • Valid drivers license required.
