About The Position
he Global Logistics Destination Operations team manages the complete supply chain, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers. This team partners with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges, enhance processes, and uphold company standards. By analyzing data, they improve network efficiency and support business objectives related to sales, inventory, and profitability. The team leads performance management, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and fosters accountability and integrity. Their efforts ensure seamless supply chain execution aligned with Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Supply chain/logistics leadership experience with exception management and KPI-driven decision-making.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Continuous improvement experience (lean/process redesign)
- Global logistics/import or complex multi-node distribution experience
- Carrier performance management
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
- 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
- Own daily issue resolution and escalations across shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns; perform root-cause analysis and corrective action.
- Analyze cross-stakeholder data to improve network efficiency and support supplier compliance.
- Determine/approve optimal flow paths from supplier to store aligned to sales, in-stock, inventory, and profit goals.
- Track shipments, identify constraints/disruptions, and coordinate resolutions.
- Serve as liaison to field operations; set expectations with suppliers/transporters; address performance issues and driver inquiries.
- Lead process improvement and new ways of working using lean and end-to-end costing to reduce waste and improve service levels.
