About The Position

This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role within the Global Technology & Solutions (GTS) Strategy & Insights team. The successful candidate will have direct exposure to senior leadership and will be responsible for turning complex strategy and technology topics into clear, trusted stories. This involves creating executive decks, memos, and briefings for audiences including the CEO, the Senior Executive Team, and TD's Board of Directors. The GTS Strategy & Insights team shapes the future direction of GTS and communicates this vision effectively to senior leaders, aiding in decision-making and organizational alignment.

  • Ability to synthesize complex, technical information and translate it into clear, compelling messages tailored to senior and diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to independently plan work, build and manage workback schedules with multiple dependencies, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated professional with the ability to operate independently, anticipate next steps, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to connect context across conversations, ask the right questions, and ensure materials accurately reflect intent and strategic emphasis.
  • High standards for quality and precision, ensuring all materials are accurate, consistent, and presentation-ready.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about technology, including emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Practical experience in technology (i.e., a technical background and time spent in a technical delivery role), consulting, strategy, communications, change management, business management, or delivery roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot AI tools and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective business partner who works collaboratively and in an agile fashion across a broad range of stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and development of executive-level decks and memos for senior leadership engagements.
  • Play a key role in refreshing GTS’ short-medium- and long-term strategy and priorities, translating vision into clear strategic direction.
  • Conduct research and analysis to produce briefings, presentations, and communications that inform decisions and drive alignment.
  • Communicate complex ideas, insights, and recommendations clearly and persuasively, both live and through written materials.
  • Work collaboratively across GTS and the enterprise to ensure strong governance, alignment, and disciplined execution of strategic priorities.
  • Partner closely with senior executives, business leads, and subject matter experts across GTS, and collaborate with enterprise teams.
