The Manager develops and executes strategic communication programs and works with the Director of Regulatory and Strategic Affairs to set priorities, including developing and delivering communication plans and messages and supporting project activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years creating and editing communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage complex projects working with government partners and meeting strict deadlines
  • Liaison between government agencies and internal leadership teams

Nice To Haves

  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification preferred
  • Understanding of government and regulatory workings
  • Knowledge of Ohio legislative and administrative landscape

Responsibilities

  • Manages projects, programs, or processes for Regulatory and Strategic Affairs.
  • Develops actionable insights derived from project management tools, data analyses, and stakeholder feedback to support creation of communication materials and to support process improvement for Regulatory and Strategic Affairs.
  • Drives business communication strategies in support of business objectives using best practices, innovation, and audience insight.
  • Executes Regulatory and Strategic communication plans, including integrating strategies and messages and coordinating the timing of messages across the organization.
  • Ensures that all business communications are error-free, accurate, meet regulatory requirements, and consistent with organizational core values.
  • Coaches and trains colleagues on processes and responsibilities
  • Instructs the successful implementation of project responsibilities by coordinating with cross-functional teams, setting priorities, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Advises on project management and program evaluation tools that assess performance and capture lessons learned to optimize future programs.
  • Applies highly developed program management methodologies to evaluate interdependencies and optimize resource allocation across the program portfolio.
  • Consults with senior leadership and stakeholders on program achievements, challenges, and strategies to ensure sustained program support.
  • Monitors program deliverables to ensure they meet internal quality standards and comply with relevant healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and streamlining management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
