About The Position

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned categories to drive cost savings, supplier performance, and value creation. This role focuses on supplier selection, market analysis, bidding events, and negotiation strategies to support the organization's procurement goals. The Sourcing Manager partners with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop sourcing strategies, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal supply and service. Candidates should reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. This is a hybrid role and candidates are required to be onsite one day weekly at our Corporate office in Plano, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (supply chain, finance, accounting, business).
  • 2-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading sourcing projects and vendor negotiations.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), sourcing tools, and ERP/procurement systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Healthcare or multi-site experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle is preferred but not primary.

Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic sourcing efforts across assigned categories, including Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Information (RFI) processes.
  • Conducts in-depth market and supplier research to identify trends, alternative solutions, and new opportunities.
  • Manages sourcing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develops sourcing strategies that support long-term value creation, cost containment, risk mitigation, and supplier diversity.
  • Leads supplier negotiations, focusing on pricing, terms, performance metrics, and service levels.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to understand functional and operational needs to ensure sourcing aligns with business requirements.
  • Evaluates supplier capabilities and conducts supplier quarterly based reviews (QBRs) to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements related to sourcing activities, including workflow efficiencies and cost savings initiatives.
  • Tracks and reports on sourcing metrics, savings realization, and performance indicators.
  • Supports contract execution in partnership with Contract Managers and Legal, ensuring alignment with sourcing decisions.
  • Facilitates smooth transitions and onboarding of new suppliers including implementation of supplier changeovers or category transitions.
  • Maintains strong working knowledge of assigned categories, market forces, and competitive landscape.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
