About The Position

The Manager, Sourcing & Procurement Operations will lead a team responsible for executing RFX (RFP, RFI, RFQ) activities to support sourcing and commodity management across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will guide a team while also contributing directly to operational delivery. You will ensure consistent processes, high-quality execution, and alignment with sourcing and operational priorities. This position will reference written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities. Work instructions are available in English only.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years of experience or an Advanced degree and minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in supply chain or procurement.
  • Experience executing RFX processes or competitive bidding activities.
  • People leadership experience, including managing teams of professionals.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Experience with standardized RFX tools or centralized sourcing functions.
  • Familiarity with DFAR-compliant or regulated proposal environments.
  • Experience interpreting data and providing actionable operational recommendations.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team responsible for end‑to‑end RFX execution, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and compliance in all activities.
  • Oversee project intake, scoping, documentation preparation, supplier communication, evaluation coordination, and award support.
  • Contribute directly to RFX project execution as needed, serving as a working leader.
  • Apply established RFX standards, templates, and workflows; recommend incremental process improvements where appropriate.
  • Provide measurable input into operational plans and help implement updates to RFX processes or tools.
  • Ensure professional and consistent supplier engagement during RFX events, aligned with sourcing policies.
  • Manage, and report operational KPIs such as cycle time, service levels, and quality indicators.
  • Partner with sourcing teams and Commodity Leaders to support cost‑reduction opportunities and competitive bidding events.
  • Produce regular reports on team performance, activity volumes, and operational outcomes.
  • Manage team performance, development, workload priorities, and hiring decisions for direct reports.
  • Support cross‑functional coordination across sourcing, engineering, and finance.
  • Travel as required for supplier interactions or team engagement.
