About The Position

The Coca-Cola Freestyle platform includes connected beverage equipment with embedded operating systems, digitally enabled dispensers and devices, and cloud, web, and IoT services. The Manager, Software Quality & Integration Engineer is central to software quality, integration, and release readiness for new software and hardware across this portfolio. The role works closely with software and hardware development teams, product owners, and Coca-Cola customers to guide quality from test strategy through release, validate software on real equipment, resolve field issues, identify defect patterns, and ensure releases are ready for deployment. The position serves as a subject matter expert on the Freestyle fleet and other connected equipment. It coordinates integration across software release cycles, defines and executes testing, analyzes dispenser logs, and collaborates with engineering teams to make designs testable. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Food Engineering.
At least 3 years of industry experience; experience in a fast-moving consumer goods company is described as ideal.
Strong knowledge of testing IoT and embedded devices, including Linux, at least one programming language (Java preferred), and backend protocols that communicate with hardware.
Excellent knowledge of embedded and full-stack software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and testing tools.
Ability to refine solutions and manage internal and external partners’ expectations against technical and business success criteria.
Strong working knowledge of shell scripting and Unix command-line tools.
Ability to use backend communication protocols such as APIs and web services.
Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, JavaScript, Java, and Groovy.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or similar tools.
Experience developing test plans, assessing risk, detailing defects, and providing data for test reporting.
Fluency in software QA metrics, operations, and statistics.
Ability to triage and prioritize problems and propose resolutions.
Ability to work independently, raise issues, and take corrective action.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require Coca-Cola Company sponsorship to continue working legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for the Coca-Cola Freestyle fleet and other connected equipment, providing software quality assurance expertise across embedded systems, software platforms, connected devices, and hardware integrations.
Coordinate end-to-end integration efforts across software release cycles and ensure system stability, functionality, and operational readiness through testing and validation.
Define test coverage; develop test plans; create, maintain, and execute manual and automated functional and performance test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align system functionality, user needs, operational goals, and deployment expectations with technical and business requirements.
Analyze dispenser logs to assist development teams with defect debugging and use or enhance existing tools to automate testing of physical dispensers.
Partner with development and engineering management to understand equipment requirements and ensure designs are testable.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and engineering teams to deliver new technologies, embedded software solutions, and system improvements across Freestyle platforms and connected equipment.
Investigate and resolve escalated field issues using advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and data-driven problem solving.
Review and validate new hardware and software prototypes, identifying integration improvements and checking compatibility, performance, and production readiness.
Use AI-driven tools to support integration and troubleshooting, analyze large datasets, and accelerate issue resolution for field and engineering teams.
