About The Position

We are seeking an Engineering Manager who is passionate about leading teams, delivering impactful solutions, and fostering a collaborative culture. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in startup-like environments, embraces SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms, and enjoys working closely with product and technology partners to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in engineering management.
  • Proven track record in software development with exposure to modern cloud-native and traditional programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Python, Go).
  • Experience leading teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture patterns (modular design, SOLID principles, micro-frontends, Microservices etc.).
  • Understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern development practices.
  • Exposure to GenAI, SaaS platforms, and low-code/no-code tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with modernizing legacy systems and integrating with modern platforms.
  • Exposure to serverless technologies, distributed systems, or DevOps practices.
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or digital platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of startup or growth-stage environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of engineers delivering scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of engineering projects with a focus on speed, reliability, and customer impact.
  • Support the use of SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate delivery and reduce custom development.
  • Partner with product managers, architects, and other technology leaders to align priorities and ensure successful delivery.
  • Promote sound engineering practices within the team and support strong design and implementation in collaboration with architects.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, ensure backlog health, remove obstacles, and help the team continuously improve.
