The Software Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership and people management across distributed teams, collaborating with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes. The position emphasizes enabling strong delivery, continuous improvement, and aligning engineering execution with business priorities. Requirements

  • Experience leading software engineering teams and delivering complex software solutions
  • Experience working with global or offshore delivery models and external technology partners
  • Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data optimization techniques
  • Understanding of modern software development methodologies, including Agile and test-driven development
  • Experience with project, resource, and delivery planning, including budgeting considerations
  • Ability to contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and solution decisions
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and addressing large-scale technical challenges
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, including offshore partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of software solutions across the development lifecycle, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with architectural standards
  • Partner with product and project leaders to plan, prioritize, and execute work aligned to business objectives
  • Contribute to technical decision-making through design reviews, code reviews, and complex problem solving
  • Define and implement engineering best practices, including test-driven development and code quality standards
  • Oversee system integration, user acceptance testing, and release cycles to support reliable delivery
  • Lead technical strategy and contribute to the evolution of system architecture
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and offshore development partners
