This team plans, designs, and builds for connected TVs, web, mobile phones, tablets, and consoles, operating as one company with a mission to be the premier media and entertainment leader globally. You will be joining the CNN growth team, which focuses on building engaging experiences to foster a direct relationship with users. This team collaborates with product managers, data scientists, and product analysts to explore growth opportunities, generate hypotheses, and test features. The tech stack includes JavaScript, Node, Python, Svelte, Sass, and AWS services, valuing flexibility and full-stack capabilities. As a Manager, Software Development on CNN's Growth Team, you will contribute significantly to creating features for registered users on one of the world's leading news and media platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure, exciting, and performant user experiences. The role requires an understanding of engineering's importance in product discovery and execution, harmonious teamwork, and a eagerness to learn and grow. The team is actively exploring new direct-to-consumer subscription products for CNN and building features to expand the registered user audience. You will work closely with partners in product, design, analytics, and marketing to develop and test products and user experiences that drive customer acquisition and engagement throughout the user journey. The growth of CNN’s digital business is a core element of WBD’s long-term strategy, and you will be part of the team driving this digital revenue growth.
