Join the leader in entertainment innovation and help us design the future. At Dolby, science meets art, and high tech means more than computer code. As a member of the Dolby team, you’ll see and hear the results of your work everywhere, from movie theaters to smartphones. We continue to revolutionize how people create, deliver, and enjoy entertainment worldwide. To do that, we need the absolute best talent. We’re big enough to give you all the resources you need, and small enough so you can make a real difference and earn recognition for your work. We offer a collegial culture and challenging projects. The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers. We're hiring a contractor to build and run Dolby's presence across LinkedIn, X, and Reddit: three platforms with three different rulebooks and one shared requirement, the ability to make people feel something about technology most brands only know how to spec-sheet. This is not a scheduling or copywriting role, and it's not a developer relations role either. It's for someone who has spent a career translating culture and entertainment into content, and who is curious enough about how immersive technologies actually works to turn that fluency into stories a practitioner's audience feels, not a technical brief they scroll past. On LinkedIn, the mandate is bigger than posting more often: build a consistent, opinionated through-line for Dolby, an editorial identity people follow because it's genuinely interesting, not because Dolby posted it. That means an executive visibility program built from the ground up and a company page that reads as an industry voice instead of an announcement feed. On X, you'll be the fast, culturally fluent voice in the conversations Dolby's industry is already having, translating real curiosity about the technology into posts that read like a person, not a press release. On Reddit, you're starting from zero: there is no Dolby identity there yet, and earning one, the right way, one thread at a time, is the job. Across all three, the technology is what makes the story true, not the story itself. We need someone who has done this before in entertainment or consumer-facing content, and who can bring that same instinct to a technical, practitioner-facing audience.
