About The Position

NBCUniversal is seeking a strategic, culturally fluent, and analytical Manager, Social Marketing Intelligence & Insights. This role sits at the intersection of data, culture, and marketing strategy, and is responsible for translating social, cultural, and audience intelligence into insights that inform social strategies for Telemundo. This role will translate real-time social signals, Hispanic audience behaviors, and cultural trends into actionable recommendations that shape how the Telemundo brand and its contents are positioned, promoted, and experienced across social media platforms.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in social analytics, digital marketing analytics, audience insights, media analytics, social strategy, or a related field, preferably within media, entertainment, streaming, or culturally driven brands.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to analyze content, performance, trends, and audience behavior across Spanish-language, English-language, and bilingual / Spanglish contexts.
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, and X, with demonstrated ability to evaluate platform-specific performance drivers.
  • Familiarity with data analytic measurement platforms, including but not limited to Meta Business Suite, TikTok Insights, Sprout, Shareablee, Talkwaler, etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to marketing, brand, content, community, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and social analytics tools; comfortable working with platform-native analytics and third-party reporting tools.
  • Experience working with U.S. Hispanic audiences, Spanish-language media, multicultural marketing, or Latino digital communities.
  • Familiarity with Latino pop culture, entertainment, music, sports, creators, fandoms, and the ways Hispanic audiences engage across social platforms.
  • Experience supporting real-time or fast-moving social environments, including live events, premieres, finales, tentpole campaigns, or cultural moments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis of always-on and campaign performance across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X)
  • Develop frameworks that measure engagement quality, shareability, and social currency, beyond reach and impressions
  • Connect social performance to broader brand KPIs (awareness, affinity, tune-in where applicable)
  • Identify repeatable patterns behind high-performing content, formats, and publishing strategies
  • Evaluate how different content types perform across platforms
  • Identify what drives repeat engagement and audience retention over time
  • Maintain deep expertise in how major platforms operate (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), including algorithm shifts and feature changes
  • Analyze how platform updates impact content distribution, discoverability, and engagement
  • Provide guidance on format optimization (video length, hooks, posting cadence, interactivity features)
  • Manage several measurement and analytic platforms (ie. Shareablee, Sprout, Talkwalker)
  • Monitor performance during key moments (launches, live events, tentpole programming)
  • Identify what content is gaining traction and why, in near real-time
  • Systematically track emerging trends across platforms, creators, and digital culture
  • Distinguish between short-lived trends and scalable opportunities for Telemundo
  • Translate trends into clear, actionable recommendations for content, brand, and marketing teams
  • Translate complex data, platform signals, and cultural trends into clear, actionable insights for Social Marketing, Content, Community & Fan Engagement, Brand, and Marketing teams
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and executive briefings focused on performance, emerging opportunities, and forward-looking recommendations
  • Embed insights into planning, ideation, publishing, and optimization workflows to ensure Telemundo’s social activity is grounded in data, cultural relevance, and platform intelligence
  • Develop predictive analytic frameworks
  • Act as a strategic partner in planning, helping teams make smarter decisions about where, when, and how Telemundo shows up across social platforms
