About The Position

The Manager, Site Merchandising, leads the design and optimization of site layouts and category displays to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic. Responsible for campaign planning, product launches, and site structure management, this position ensures alignment with business objectives while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence within a dynamic eCommerce environment. About the team: The Site Merchandising team leads the online shopping experience within the food category by managing visual merchandising, content strategy, functionality, and campaign execution. This team drives continuous improvement and innovation to deliver a seamless, engaging site experience that supports food eCommerce growth. Utilizing customer insights, market research, and strategic planning, the team shapes site capabilities aligned with business goals. Collaboration across functions and data-driven decision-making are key to developing impactful site strategies that enhance customer engagement and business performance.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in site merchandising, including site navigation, visual merchandising, and use of administrative tools such as Tempo and Tango.
  • Strong skills in customer analytics and market research to inform site optimization and category strategy.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across teams, presenting complex information clearly and fostering collaboration.
  • Experience in developing and executing category strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing team members while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize site merchandising for multiple departments by designing traffic plans, product layouts, and featured displays.
  • Drive customer engagement through search result strategies and collaboration with Marketing partners.
  • Analyze customer behavior and market data to recommend site improvements and category strategies.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Manage product launches and promotional campaigns, coordinating resources and evaluating outcomes.
  • Utilize web analytics and SEO best practices to enhance site structure and content relevance.
  • Lead and develop team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
