About The Position

This position is accountable for overseeing plant performance as it relates to safety, cost, machine uptime, quality, waste, and overall process reliability. The role involves overseeing employees and fostering effective teams, with a strong commitment to a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all safety and health requirements. The Manager Site III coordinates site efforts through the Complex General Manager, the Chihuahua CIM, and complex facilities to achieve quality targets, volume expectations, and delivery requirements. They will work with the Complex General Manager to develop and implement short- and long-term plans to become a low-cost producer and preferred supplier for customers. The role manages direct reports in safety, finance, quality, customer service, production, shipping, and maintenance departments, and is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective team and organizational structure to maximize performance and drive superior customer and employee satisfaction. The position also manages plant assets and aligns with strategic plans. Approximately 10% travel is typical to Chihuahua, sister plants, and customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in production management
  • Proven in-depth manufacturing knowledge including manufacturing processes and corrugating and converting equipment.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
  • Agility to work in a multi-national complex that ships & receives across the US/Mexico border daily.
  • Ability to travel to the US or willing to obtain a passport within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in relevant area preferred.
  • Corrugated or paper industry experience preferred.
