About The Position

This entry-level leadership, Site Manager 1 position is within the Bacchus Value Stream Operations Team. This position is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, delivery, employee development and cost objectives are met. The successful candidate will direct all phases of assigned location program objectives from inception through completion. Responsible for site specific technical statement of work / performance and overall site operations. He/she responsible for all site day to day activities of assigned program site, including employees timesheets, performance evaluations, facility, safety, security and daily production and directs the work of employees assigned from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. He/she provides leadership, guidance, and career development to all site employees. Ensures adherence to Northrop Grumman and PS Human Resources policies. He/she maintains close coordination with the OA and Site 2 Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience manufacturing, or Master’s Degree and 3 years’ experience in manufacturing
  • 1 - 3 years managing in a manufacturing or related environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal/leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to work with and satisfy internal and external customers and suppliers was well as a demonstrated commitment to customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate initiatives plans and expectations.
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Pilgrim.

  • Demonstrated experience managing a diverse work force including exempt, non-exempt, and Union represented hourly personnel.
  • Experience with a Represent Work Force (Union) and the limitations and requirements related to USW contract.
  • Experience in quality systems and quality management (AS9100/ISO9001)
  • Demonstrated a strong safety and working culture, with All Hands Meetings and consistent floor presence.
