About The Position

It is with this view and vision that we are currently seeking a SIOP Manager, based out of our Canadian headquarters in Laval, QC. Reporting directly to the Canadian General Manager, the SIOP Manager will lead the Canadian SIOP process, including demand planning, inventory planning, purchasing coordination, forecast accuracy, and cross-functional planning cadence. The role will work closely with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Finance to align customer demand with supply capability, optimize inventory investment, improve service levels, and support data-driven decision-making across the Canadian region.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in inventory management, production planning, supply chain, or SIOP.
  • Relevant education, training, and/or professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience with purchase cycle and buying is required.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and purchasing processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or operations, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading SIOP or integrated business planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory health, including service levels, excess and obsolete inventory, aged inventory, stockouts, inventory turns, and working capital impact, and recommend actions to optimize inventory investment while maintaining customer service levels.
  • Coordinate with vendors, production and supply chain partners where needed.
  • Provide Canadian oversight and coordination for purchasing activities within the North American Inventory Management team, ensuring purchase plans reflect Canadian demand, supplier lead times, service requirements, and inventory targets.
  • Lead and facilitate the monthly Canadian SIOP process, including demand review, supply review, inventory review, gap analysis, scenario planning, executive reporting, and follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Develop and maintain annual, monthly, and rolling forecast models using historical sales, customer input, market trends, product lifecycle information, and business intelligence.
  • Process development and improvement, including tools and process to create more efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to align demand, supply, inventory, and financial assumptions and drive effective use of inventory, resources, and working capital.
  • Develop and maintain inventory and SIOP KPI’s.
  • Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve performance.
