About The Position

As the Manager – Service Regional Readiness, APAC & Americas, you will lead a team of Regional Readiness Project Managers responsible for delivering regional readiness plans that support product launches, product changes, and end-of-life initiatives. The role focuses on developing team capabilities, driving cross-functional execution, managing readiness risks, and ensuring service resources, processes, and operational requirements are in place to support successful business outcomes across APAC and the Americas. This remote position is based in Bogotá, Colombia and supports teams located across the Americas and Asia Pacific regions. Collaboration across multiple time zones is required. Occasional travel may be required within the Americas, APAC, and the United States, and the ability to obtain and maintain required travel visas is necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, service readiness, or service delivery
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience with direct responsibility for employee performance and development
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization
  • Experience using project metrics and performance data to drive execution and operational improvement
  • Ability to support stakeholders and teams across APAC and Americas time zones

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading project managers or project management teams
  • Experience supporting product launches, deployments, service transitions, or operational readiness programs
  • Knowledge of medical device service operations, field service, repair, or post-market support environments
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training
  • Experience managing stakeholders across global and regional organizations

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Regional Readiness Project Managers supporting APAC and the Americas
  • Establish team objectives, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with Global Service and Project Management Office goals
  • Direct regional readiness planning and execution for product launches, product changes, and end-of-life initiatives
  • Assess readiness gaps and drive actions related to resources, training, processes, systems, materials, and documentation
  • Monitor readiness performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions using project metrics and operational data
  • Partner with Program Managers and Operating Unit Portfolio Managers to align readiness plans with service strategies and program objective
  • Communicate project status, key risks, decisions, and recommendations to regional and global stakeholders.
  • Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across regional readiness methods, tools, and processes
